Friends of Carnforth Station Film Night - Monday 13 July

Furness & Midland Hall: 7.30pm

Featuring “Round the Lakes via Keswick”, “Engineering Works with Network Rail” and “Liverpool Under the Old Umbrella” (Liverpool Overhead Railway).  Admission £3 (includes refreshments). The Gift Shop will be open throughout the evening.  All proceeds to Carnforth Station Trust.

Favourites from the 30s, 40s and early 50s.  Admission free.

An evening of murder mystery presented by the After Dark Theatre Company.  Tickets £10 inclusive of buffet supper.  Tel: 01524 735894 for details.

 

Model Weekend - Saturday - Sunday 22 - 23 August

Furness & Midland Hall: 10am - 4pm

4 layouts including “Much Suffering”, “Mie Depot” and the Museum of Transport.  Adults £1.50. Children free.  Stalls on platform 1.  Call Roy on 01524 734551 to book a stall.

A digital playground for all ages!  Free Admission.

 

"Lest We Forget"  - Thursday 3 September

Furness & Midland Hall: 10.50am

A commemoration service to mark 70 years since the beginning of World War 2.  Led by Richard Cook, the Railway Chaplain.  In attendance: the Mayor of Carnforth.  All welcome.
